Props and Costumes

Props

Props are needed in the film to show true interaction from the characters in the film; makes the film more "real". They are also an essential part of the story telling. 

Not many props will be required to be used in our film opening. 

However we will need the following:

• An Atena (Possibly made fro tin foil to give it an "alien" look/feel
• Some "Alien" writing with onto a ripped piece of A4 paper
• Black Permanent Marker

Costumes

"Normal" looking clothes will be required for the Children in our film:

• Jeans
• Hoody/Jumper
• Trainers

For the Teacher/Alien, smart casual will be used (Same but with a shirt)*

Location Research Update

This will be the corridor in which part of our film opening will be set.

Classroom:

The problem with this opening is that we need a single classroom available for all three days of shooting. In this classroom there must be:

• a white board
• chairs
• tables
• a desk
• a door

There were several available classrooms but only one had the necessary requirements we need for our film.  We will be filming the scene in the classroom "G12". 

Corridor:

We will also need a long corridor to film the second half of our opening scene in. We will be filming it in the upstairs Corridor in the G block to create continuity with the setting. (G12 + G block corridor)
